From what I've read in the FAQ and in the GNU license material, they only 
need to release the source if they use the general C++ library (I forgot 
the name of the file).  Even then (from what I've gathered) they don't 
have to release the source, but just the *object* files so that it can be 
re-linked with any new version of the C++ library.  Or so says the FAQ.  
I'll have to read the GNU license statement to be sure.  Please correct 
me if I'm wrong.
