From the problems you are expiriencing I know that you are using NETX. Use gcc -v and you will see that gcc forgets the -Llibpath switch when invoking ld. The only workaround I found so far is to switch from NETX to VLM. Please send me a personal mail which date stamp your ZIP file with gcc has (before/after Feb 5). And, if you switched to VLM do not forget to stubedit ld and give it a transfer buffer of 64k. BTW, Eli, there _WERE_ two different versions of V2 on the net. One of Feb,5 and the other one Feb 22 or so, and the gcc.exe's _ARE_ different. I just hadn't the time to put the newer one on the Novell net and try it out. We currently have problems with our server and my PC runs now as a backup server, so it might take a little. -- Ciao Tom ************************************************************* * Thomas Demmer * * Lehrstuhl fuer Stroemungsmechanik * * Ruhr-Uni-Bochum * * Universitaetsstr. 150 * * D-44780 Bochum * * Tel: +49 234 700 6434 * * Fax: +49 234 709 4162 * * http://www.lstm.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/~demmer * *************************************************************
