I once tried to ask (not even demand) Borland to correct a few problems in the v3.1 library. I submitted a complete report with all the symptoms and the analysis which explained why the problems happen. Guess what? those problems are still there (AFAIK) in the recent versions, more than 3 years later. Maybe you shouldn't expect more from a large company which has more important problems to care about than to satisfy its customers...
