It is normally pointed to by _go32_conventional_mem_selector(). I have successfully accessed video memory area at 0xA0000 using the segment selector in gs. My question is: Is it safe to use gs as the conventional memory selector? At what conditions will gs change? Someone posted a question similar to this a while ago, and I have not seen any answer yet. Any insights will be appreciated. Brian Walters
