Subject: Not ar.exe problem

It appears now that the message

	..\lib\libcurso.a could not read symbols: Malformed archive

which stopped compilation of the samples in pdc22.zip has nothing to
do with ar.exe or the integrity of the library.  Rather it appears
that the problem is a shortage of swap space on the hard disk.

The message is rather misleading though.

Incidentally, all the sample programs work.
