I've read the latest FAQ (1.02) from top-to-bottom. I just installed the compiler/library/util/doc files from the archives and am about to start a few simple test programs to verify operation of the compiler. I've also visited DJ's Web site and am obviously a subscriber to the DJGPP mail list. Having done all of this, I'm nearly ready to become a serious user of DJGPP, but have a few unanswered questions: 1) Which maintenance patches must be applied to bring the Simtel files up to the latest rev level ? I got my GPP/GCC system from ftp.coast.net itself, so it shud be the absolute latest and greatest, but I'm uncertain if *all* of the patch files from this site (112m1 thru 112m4) shud be applied to this rev of the compiler. 1a) I presume 1.12m4 is the final patch before the end of the DJGPP 2.0 beta cycle. I was a bit confused since DJ has a link on one of his Web pages that refers to the *1.11maint5* rev, along w/ the pointer to the 2.0 beta. I guess that even though the 1.11m5 HTML page has an update stamp of Nov 95, it's probably obsolete, instead of it being a numbering error. 2) Does anyone know of pre-bilt Objective-C classes on the net ? ============================================================ Never ascribe to malice what can be explained by stupidity. - Anon ============================================================
