That distribution contains the source and binaries for - pdcurses (just included for convenience from the "standard" djgpp distribution) - GNAT binding to pdcurses - AdaTUI, a TUI package at the level of the TUI package included with pdcurses - tuidemo, a program similar to the comparable C one in pdcurses. This is free software, released under the GPL/LGPL. Will it work with ncurses on Linux? I don't know; we haven't tried it yet. I think it would be a _great_ idea to give it a try and release the results. If it doesn't work "out of the box" with ncurses, I don;t think it will be a big job to fix. Since (according to a Linux World article about 6 months ago) ncurses is now the "officially supported" curses in the Unix world, it is definitely worth doing. Get back to me by e-mail if you have questions; I'm cc-ing the author, my student Alden Dima, in case he wants to join in.
