The editor works fine but how can I make EMacs run like in Linux!? i.e: Without that ugly gray background! I've tried setting inverse-video t but it doesn't work (altough mode-line-inverse-video does work). And Btw, what's so great about EMacs!? (I'm more interested by the color thing but... )
