Stop. Keywords: makefile error help make To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com DJ-Gateway: from newsgroup comp.os.msdos.djgpp I've read the posts about the missing separator error that people get when trying to compile the GRX library, but the error I'm getting doesn't seem to be because of spaces instead of a tab. I downloaded a microEmacs just to be sure, and now I don't know what to do because it definitely isn't that problem. The error I get is: makefile.gcc:7: *** missing separator. Stop. The first few lines of the makefile (since the makefile program doesn't look ahead) are the following (the arrow and comment aren't in the file): # # MAKEFILE.GCC # for building the DJGPP version of the GRX library # usage: make [-DPLANE=] [-DMODEL=] [-DDEBUG] # !if !$d(MODEL) <---- This is line #7. MODEL = 1 !endif .... etc. I don't know what to make of this error and I want to recompile the library so I can add masking capability to the bitblt functions.
