Except that the functionality of stubedit V1.12 and stubedit V2 seems to differ. I need the noglobbing (no wildcard expansion) feature of V1.12 in my V2 program since I'm dealing with mathematical expression on the command line and there is no need to do globbing or explain the user that he has to quote the expression. Is the lack of the stubedit V2 globbing toggle a temporary ommission ? Are there other ways to do the same? (doings "strings app" showed that there's still a variable _exp_wildcards or something like that in the sources) Thanks in advance, -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cees Wesseling | PO BOX 80.115 | email: wessel AT frw DOT ruu DOT nl Dept. of Physical Geography | 3508 TC Utrecht | phone: (+31) 30 532768 University of Utrecht | the Netherlands | fax: (+31) 30 540604 --------------------------------------------------------------------------
