From: jae AT Laden1 DOT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (Juergen Erhard) Subject: problem with info and libgplus Top To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (DJGPP Mailing List) Date: Thu, 14 Dec 1995 18:19:24 +0100 (MET) I've installed djgpp 1.12 (and maint 1-4), but I couldn't read the lipgplus (or was it libgpp) info node. I've read the FAQ (Rev 1.2) and the entry on "can't find Top" (or similar). But can't I expect the thing to work "right out of the box" so to speak? I managed to get it working by renaming the entry in the dir.txi to libgpp (including the file), renaming the libgplus.tex to libgpp.txi and running makeinfo on both. Which might be a bit much to expect of a MS-DOS user. Oh, and I got the software from an (official?) SimTel mirror, fpt.uni-paderborn.de. Any comments? Form the folks building the distrib, that is? Or just correct it and ignore this (I don't want this to be a flame). PS: Actually, I love a challenge... that I can master! -- Juergen A.
