It will be out of beta when all the known bugs are fixed.  Right now, the
list is rather small (smaller than the known V1.x bug list) but it doesn't
make sense to release a product with bugs we know how to fix, does it?
Progress to release is limited by the time resources of volunteers.  For
example, DJ lost his hard drive with all of the V2 work and had to rebuild
it, so everyone who sumitted patches since b3 needed to check out his WIP
to make sure they didn't disappear.

Get the beta.  Try it.  If you have problems then we either have a compatibility
problem or a bug, or a documentation defect.  If your program runs under 
DPMI with V1.x, it should work with V2.   Try under windows or CWSDPMI.
