It will be out of beta when all the known bugs are fixed. Right now, the list is rather small (smaller than the known V1.x bug list) but it doesn't make sense to release a product with bugs we know how to fix, does it? Progress to release is limited by the time resources of volunteers. For example, DJ lost his hard drive with all of the V2 work and had to rebuild it, so everyone who sumitted patches since b3 needed to check out his WIP to make sure they didn't disappear. > I really would like to begin working with it but I'm not sure ... > any bugs if they showed up. I'm not rushing anyone I'm just curious...... Get the beta. Try it. If you have problems then we either have a compatibility problem or a bug, or a documentation defect. If your program runs under DPMI with V1.x, it should work with V2. Try under windows or CWSDPMI. > Also......maybe somebody could give me an ftp site for the djgpp v2 > beta. As a last resort I may have to begin using the beta version. DJ's web site (www.delorie.com) contains a listing of b3 distribution sites. The primary site in the US is ftp.idsoftware.com
