Lines: 20 Nntp-Posting-Host: alanis.ctron.com To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Dj-Gateway: from newsgroup comp.os.msdos.djgpp Would anyone happen to know why the SB_LIB API(0.2b) would work perfectly under Windows 95 (dos window) and not under dos using cwsdpmi? I am assuming that the dpmi environment under Win95 is different than that of cwsdpmi but I cannot pinpoint where the actual problem resides. When using SB_LIB under Win95 the sound is fine, but under cwsdpmi the sound is about 10% of what it was previously and almost unusable. At the present time I cannot figure out if it is a problem with the SoundBlaster api, cwsdpmi, or djgpp2.0 itself. Go figure, a DOS program working BETTER under Windows???!! 8) If anyone has seen a similar problem or can help me at least point the finger at a particular factor in the equation I would greatly appreciate it. ------ -coRey
