No. I am using a DJGPP compiled version of Emacs 19.28 in a DOS-window with Win'95 - works just fine. Win'05 provides DOS clients with DPMI services (just like Win 3.x), so everything should work OK. My only quibble is that the Taskbar reports the name of the running program as "GO32" instead of e.g. "emacs".
