Date: Mon, 14 Aug 95 14:26:50 PDT Organization: &tSftDotIotE Lines: 18 To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Dj-Gateway: from newsgroup comp.os.msdos.djgpp I understand that some C++ compilers support exceptions (e.g., throw and try...catch statements) through the use of macros, which do the appropriate setjmp/lngjmp stuff that needs to be done. gcc 2.6.3 promptly informs me that "sorry, not implemented: exception handling not supported" whenever I use a catch, throw, or try keyword. Are there some macro facilities available that will allow me to use C++ exceptions until (if ever) they get supported in gcc, and consequently ported to DJGCC? Thanks -- I'm really anxious to do some work with exceptions with gcc. Any help is appreciated.
