The relevant parts of the FAQ get posted anyway as answers to the people who ask these questions. That's why I usually post the replies to the list/newsgroup instead of merely answering by private mail. What's the point in invading every DJGPPer's privacy with a 180K-long file when what the newbies are after can be told in a relatively short post with short FAQ sections quoted directly and pointers into the FAQ's more longish sections?
