A nifty (although stagnant) package.  There's probably a djgpp-specific
port around somewhere.

BTW, I have a line-of-pixels extension to the srgp portion that makes
image displays fast.  This is X Window System Xlib code, but if someone
wants to adapt it to something djgpp compatible, please contact me.
