I have some trouble with the new implementation of inportb,... in V2, but I am not sure if it is really a bug. In V2 all in/out-commands are implemented as inline assembler functions, which only pass the parameter to the in/out assembler command, like: inportb (...) { asm ("inb %1, %0" : ......); } Now I heard that it is essential to *wait* a bit after starting an in/out operation - is this true? Is the function above correct? (of course the above function is not complete) Thanks in advance, Jochen -- ------------------------------------ EMail: jscharrl AT ba-stuttgart DOT de or: acorn1 AT ftp DOT uni-stuttgart DOT de ------------------------------------
