So far, the best performance I've got in the djgpp environment is from the following: gcc -m486 -O2 wibble.c i.e. compile the program "wibble.c", using 486 specific instructions, and level 2 optimization. I imagine that there are other optimization options to gcc that can improve performance considerably. Any guidelines?
