I've hit this problem several months ago, when running an Info verifier (which tests all the cross-references) on this and other Info pages. It's a genuine FSF bug--I reported it to the appropriate GNU Newsgroup and got an answer from Richard Stallman that he'd ask the authors of these packages to fix the TeXInfo sources. There is a node in the TexInfo docs which says which characters are legal in the menu and node names: check it out, it rules out `:' and a couple of others. Btw, similar bugs can be found in other Info files, but iostream and lobg++ are especially plagued by them (not surprisingly).
