I want to detect the presence of a modem on COM 1-4. I may have to use the MS-Windows API in order to do it. Are there header files in DJGPP for this sort of thing? I don't need the entire API, just something that allows me to detect modems on COM ports. The other possibility is to do the detection from DOS. At this point, I don't really know if it matters.
