Can't figure out documentation on BISON and FLEX I am running PCs connected to a Local Area Vax Cluster. We are trying to migrate off of the VAXen and were looking for a utility to replace the VMS Command Language Utility. The LEX and YACC software looks like a good candidate for this and I found the freeware versions of them, FLEX & BISON, at csusm.edu in their DOSWARE directories. Unfortunately the manual for flex, flexdoc.1 is written in a text formatting language that I have never seen before (perhaps a UNIX utility - I don't know any UNIX) and the BISON document, bison.tex can't be processed with our TEX on the VAX since there is a lot of C code (which looks like TEX commands), the input file at the beginning of the document is missing. Could someone out there help me out? Is it possible to process the FLEX manual into a document either on our VAX or using some program on the PC? Is there an initialization file for TEX that we could input that would get it to process the BISON manual into a document on our VAX? Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.
