I think it was able to compile a couple of > files though. I used to compile *gcc* on a 386/20. It had 8 Mb of ram, but I used a lot for ramdisk and cache. I think go32 had 2Mb for itself. Six hours was the best I could get. I did hear from one person way back when that actually had a 386/16 with 512K of system memory in it. It worked, after I fixed the bug ;-)
