Burke) Subject: Debuggers All - Well, as usual I leapt face-first into the fray... turns out most of my attempts to use a debugger with djgpp have been with edebug32, rather than with gdb. This rather soured me on the whole issue, especially since symbolic debuggers aren't tools I use a lot in any environment. (Under Unix, I use dbx primarily to prevent system-freezing core dumps if the program crashes.) I'm sure this is just inertia rather than any real measure of merit; I'll try to give gdb a fair trial before I make any more stupid comments (on this issue, anyway!) Yours in chagrin, Carl Burke
