Just to keep our heads cool and our data straight:  do you indeed
get 100+ messages from _this_ list?  I only get about 30-40 a day;
this is consistent with the official statistics (published by
Charles Sandmann) about 26 messages per day on the average.  Even if
we assume that every message is addressed to you as well as to the 
list, you should only get about 50-60.

If the 100+ number includes other lists, then obviously this list is
not the only one to blame, and even if it will shut up entirely,
you still have 80+ messages per day to read (or delete ;-).
