Together with the rsxwdk libraries, this would make a portable (X/MS/Mac?)Windows interface with my favorite compiler (gcc) and IDE (make :-). Unfortunately I couldn't get the thing working so now I'm hoping for hints from you folks. I used the rsxwdk2b.zip from the net and after going throught the installation instructions tried to combine it with: -djgpp 1.11m? -> compiling and linking works fine, but the 'executables' result in a general protection fault on startup. -djgpp 1.12m4 -> compiling works fine, but the linker/loader (ld) aborts with an "cannot load symbol table: out of memory" message. I tried this from both DOS and a DOS-box under windows but no avail. I could go for extra memory but there is plenty of diskspace available so it doesn't look like there is a memory shortage. Any hints?
