Richard, Surely you jest ... "Well, I guess all further development on DJGPP will cease now." - NO - We can design the ultimate hitler modorator to chortle at those who post "unsubcribe please john djjgp" messages to a list of over 500. It can bounce 500 copies of future make cash fast, fix your dog, or virus warning and thier repeated followups back to the poster. We _WILL_ need to get the DPMI out for this one ;> There are too many superflous posts .... Congratulation YES !!! - Of course ... But did _I_ and the rest of the list need to know _THAT _YOU_ congratulated and the description of where you are was twice as long. Not to pick on you specifically _OR_ to attempt to detract from the joyful ocassion in any way (not any attempt just to be annoying): _YOUR_ post is third or so that _I_ have know the pleasure of hearing _YOU_ express your congratulations personally. I mean it was like I was there. and there was that unsubscribe post today .... and the virus ... Everyday _I_ am tempted to unsubscribe, call up the archive in a month and sed the 'stuff' out of it _myself_ or wait patiently for this newsgroup. IF you feel especially strongly _either_ way I'd be happy to compile it all into a non official vote for no unsubscribe or virus posting, (or reply to ALL when the mail was supposed to be private). If you think I'd cheat or the answer is not obvious of what the most popular subject (ought to be) is on this mail list, you could vote on voting day (which ever way you feel - no pressure to vote one way or the other, just vote so _I_ know ....) in the appropriate newsgroup. Presumably voting yes would allow us better management of the incoming list (delete threads - even just having threading). But if you think different then vote which ever way - this is not a lobby.
