The file bnu252dc.zip includes the full documentation of the GNU Assembler,
and has a special chapter on i386-specific issues.  The DJGPP FAQ list
(available as faq100.zip from the same place you've got DJGPP) describes
shortly the differences between the Intel assembler syntax and the AT&T
syntax (used by gas).
