To: DJGPP AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (djgpp mailing list) Date: Wed, 22 Feb 1995 17:46:24 -0500 (EST) HI gang... I just picked up RSX and was reading the docs and trying to compile samples, and I came upon this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The RSX Window Development Kit (release 2) contains: RSXW32.EXE (Windows Extender) to run 32bit GNU-C Windows 3.1 programs Include files for GNU-C to use 16-bit headers 32-bit Windows libraries for the EMX compiler 32-bit Windows libraries for the DJGPP compiler Software Requirements: - MS-Windows 3.1 - RC.EXE, the resource compiler ^^^ - Windows.h (SDK 3.1) from a 16bit Compiler ^^^^^ - GNU-C compiler a) EMX 0.8-0.9 b) DJGPP 1.11-1.12 (coff format) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Where the heck do we get RC.EXE ? [ the only reason I have it is because it came with OS/2 ] And also where do we get windows.h "from a 16bit Compiler" ??? seems rather foolish not to include these.. if ~any~ 16bit compiler is supposed to have this, then why couldn't it be in the RSX kit? confused...
