Subject:       Flex rules

I have a Lex source file I need in a project I working on that as a rule :

		[A-Z][A-Za-z0-9_]

This causes a unknown rule error when passed through Flex but appears to work 
ok with the lex on HP-UX. If I change it to :

		[A-Z][_A-Za-z0-9]

It passes through Flex OK, but the otherwise unchanged source when compiled 
appears not to work ( works fine when compiled on the unix machine)

To my way of thinking the two rules above should mean the same thing can anyone 
confirm this and perhaps tell me why the original fails?
