The arrow keys don't work for whatever reason but other letter commands will work. The cursor appeared to end up on the bottom of the screen in this remote session but the line it landed on was the top of the info tree. Many other branches of the info tree with stars preceeding them were displayed above the cursor position. This was a unix implementation of info. jude
