Any suggestion ? (1) I wrote an emacs in Gnu C. I use it for nearly all my editing. It can handle binary matter correctly. As an .exe file it is 805301 bytes long, as compiled by Gnu C. It all fits on one 3.5 inch floppy, and can be run from a floppy. (2) To D.Taupin: Your emailer put a blank line before your `Subject:' header line in this message, so my emailer didn't treat it as part of the header and didn't show it in my emailer's contents-of-current-folder list.
