Odd.  I thought DOS 6's EMM386 now provided VCPI in V86 mode even if there
weren't an actual page frame... does your system have any other important
characteristics you failed to mention??

The ability to load programs into UMB's.  If you want this ability (and have
enough RAM to afford to), you can change `NOEMS' to `RAM'; then GO32 will be
happy and your older programs will have the EMS they want.
