NEWMAT is a package of matrices operation, written in C++, intended to be compiled using BC++ 3.1. I got some bugs compiling with DJGPP, which have been corrected, but now I can't run the Cholesky factorization. Unfortunately, the FSF implementation of C++ is nowhere near bug-free, and unfortunately also extremely unstable. Suggestions: (1) try other versions of cc1plus (2.5.8, 2.5.7 if you're currently using 2.6.0). (2) if NEWMAT is public domain or shareware, post a pointer to it so some of us can get the code and try it. (3) definitely we need to know more about your system, especially what version of GO32 and GCC you are using. Good luck, hope this helps.
