Just wanted to thank the various people who sent me advice on my mem trouble
and I didn't get back to individually. Setting up a RAMDrive and getting 
maint1 seems to have done the trick. Compiles still aren't blazing fast, but
at least the delay is in seconds as opposed to 20 minutes.
