From: Paolo Baiardi Subject: 1.12 and windows: virtual memory exhausted To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Date: Mon, 22 Aug 94 16:41:40 MET DST I've recently updated to 1.12 from 1.11 ( maint 5). I'm facing a problem with the DMPI memory handler: during compilation of source files not small ( 150K ) under Windows, the compiler halts with the following message: DMPI: not enough memory The strange is that, monitoring the virtual memory amount, there are at least 4 Mbytes still available... Outside windows all works flawlessy. System Description: DX2-66MHz with 8Mbytes RAM, 210 Mbytes HDU Dos 6.2, Windows 3.11 EMM386 active, 1024 Kbytes used by SMARTDRIVE 8192 Kbytes of Permanent Swap Space ( on the 'non-compressed' unit ) Do you have any hint ( sorry if it's a FAQ, and a big "thanks!" to DJ ) ?
