Well, I'm seeing mucho strangeness with 1.12...

I have a compaq which runs HIMEM under DOS, and
can do dpmi under windows...


1) compiling with 1.12 hangs in cc1... its doing
lots of accessing disk in real mode -- but doesn't
crash -- just doesn't do anything useful...
It works fine under windows...
Also the topline stuff keeps repeating (it doesn't linear
increment...where is topline documented (or where in go32
do I look to figure it out?)

2) I can't get gdb to repeatedly run under windows...
It sometimes hangs the machine badly (i.e. I have to
cold boot, warm boots off the keyboard stop working).
It seems to work under XMS with no problem 
(I'm going into windows to compile and int dos to debug...)
