Maybe it's something in your >configuration (some nasty TSR?), or an outdated version of go32, or something. Well, I just tried again and found some further results. When I have qdpmi commented out in my config.sys file, info seems to be working fine. When I reenable qdpmi, the info program goes to hell and I also get numerous problems with "running out of DPMI or irtual memory" while using the standalone makeinfo and compiler programs; I also get it with the newly compiled GNU Emacs (19.25) Again, I wonder seriously about qdpmi and the djgpp stuff. Can anyone help? I posted a message recently which also contained the config.sys and autoexec.bat that I use. Holmes Tempe, AZ USA
