Subject: new installation of djgpp

I have just recently obtained djgpp and installed it on my pc.  I also 
obtained the libgrx graphics and installed them on my pc.  I installed 
these according to the directions and checked this several times and on 
several pcs.  When I compile any of the graphics test codes with djgpp or 
libgrx they compile successfully.  However, they don't appear to send 
graphics to my screen and often crash the computer.  I figured this was a 
problem with the graphics driver specification.  I have a Trident 8900C 
chip with 1M.  I have tried setting the driver in the GO32 variable to 
all of the trident drivers, and I have tried using all combinations 
options to this variable.  I have also tried using the plain EGA, and VGA 
drivers with various options.  I have also not set the go32 environmental 
variable.  I have also done similar attempts on other machines with other 
graphics drivers.  I feel that I am missing something fundamental.  Has 
anyone had similar experiences or can anyone offer any sugestions.
