According to the FSF TeXInfo *is* the standard. BTW, the location of
the Postscript version is gs257ps.zip and some other ?????ps.zip files
on ftp://omnigate.clarkson.edu/pub/msdos/djgpp/pub/.
    While you're at FTP, why don't you get the list archives from
ftp://sun.soe.clarkson.edu/pub/msdos/djgpp/djgpp*, and you'll discover
that the docs issue has been around for a long time.  Further, the PS
docs were kindly provided via the hard work of a couple of frustrated
users like you, and also Un*x-style man pages are around somewhere
(also volunteer-generated).
    Here's your personal invitation to Join the Development Effort!
Docs are less important than the product in getting started, but more
important in dissemination and long-term success....
    (PS.  My own FAQ project is coming along slowly and haltingly; but
I'm through with the team-taught course in which I had to discipline
senior faculty in a language I don't speak very well ;-)  Maybe
someday soon (Saturday...) I can get some serious work done).
