I think these will get a lot of duplicate traffic. Some people don't know whether they have a new-user question or an advanced question. Others simply want "advice from the experts" and so will go for the first. It's also still useful to have a separate group for announcements. -- Alan P.S. Remember comp.unix.wizards? I don't know if it's still around. One of the problems in that group was that many of the questions posted could have been adequately addressed in C groups or comp.unix.questions. But everyone wants the best advice possible or thinks their question is very sophisticated so they post to the wizards group. I think the same thing would happen here.
