Error number one is that gcc is not recognizing the "-v" option as an option. It looks for a file by that name. Number two, when I move -v to the end or remove it all-together, I get an error of "Unknown file type (number)". The numbers are different for each file. Since I don't seem to be able to compile, I can't tell you whether anything else works. Other info: yes, I use gcc at school. This is on an Intel 486 SX machine with MsDos 6.2. Here are my relevant environment variables: call c:\djgpp\bin\setdjgpp c:/djgpp c:\djgpp set TMPDIR=c:/djgpp/tmp set GO32TMP=c:/djgpp/tmp set GO32=gw 1024 gh 768 driver c:/djgpp/drivers/tseng4k.grd nc 256 emu c:\djgpp/bin/emu387 (and my config.sys has 40 files, 1024 environment space) Thanks for your help.
