Date: 13 Feb 94 14:21 -0800 From: Philip Hodder To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Subject: UPDATE: TeXinfo and OEmacs. First of all thanks very much to all those who responded. To summarize what you need to do: 1. For OEmacs make sure the emacs.bat file (or 4DOS aliase) is set to %home%\bin\go32.exe %home%\bin\emacs.exe %1 %2 %3 ... This will allow you to run OEmacs with a different go32 in your path. 2. TeXinfo - make sure the INFOPATH variable is set correctly, and that you haven't mucked about with any of the "dir" files. They must be in UNiX format (LF), not DOS format (CR/LF) (hope that's the right way round!) What I had done originally was to not set INFOPATH, then gone and edited the "dir" file, and left a copy of it in the wrong place. Re-installing from scratch worked fine! It works fine now.
