A suggestion: just as the core distribution has standardized on a few extensions to make the rapidly proliferating .zip files manageable, we should standardize the .ps archives as well. I would nominate aaa999PS.ZIP, where aaa999 corresponds to the package documented. Then gcc257bn is GCC binaries, gcc257sr is GCC sources, gcc257dc is (TeXInfo) documents, and (ta da!) gcc257ps is the Postscript version of the docs for GCC 2.5.7. I'm not wedded to this particular scheme, but would like to see something standardized so we can tell the newbies "aaa999ps.zip is the PS version of the docs for aaa999; if there isn't such a file then nobody has uploaded PS documents yet". --Steve
