Cc: stevec AT yoda DOT physics DOT unc DOT edu Greetings: I may be asking common questions since I have now read about the existence of this mail list, but I need some answers quickly. 1) I have the DJGPP C compiler on a 386SX computer and have successfully compiled some code. I used aout2exe to produce a prog.exe executable. I have a colleague who wants to run my prog.exe on his 486 machine. I have tried to run this on a 486 machine before I send it to him, but it does not seem to work. What do I need to do to make an exe file that will work on a 386 and 486 machine? 3) We would also like to compile this code using Borland C++. Is there some list of translation rules that takes code that works with DJGPP C and gets it to run under Borland? Thanks... Steve Christensen stevec AT yoda DOT physics DOT unc DOT edu
