I had the same problem.
The djgpp-svga terminal shipped with gnuplot use only 320x200x256 resolution.

Christian Burger (burger AT Mailer DOT Uni-Marburg DOT DE) gave me a .trm file he had
written. It works very well with every resolution supported by my .grn
graphic driver. Ask him for the file.
(He wrote the terminal so I can't make it public).
