Unfortunately, I didn't receive any help from the list... maybe I'm the first to do this. Anyways, to get objc running. Get the gcc distribution directory gcc-2.x.x/objc (I used 2.5.2). Then change the makefile so it compiles encoding.c and then remove the xforward stuff. You now have objective-c. If dj reads this list: I can make a distribution for you to put up\ on ftp.
