From: dstoll AT novalis DOT stgt DOT sub DOT org (Dieter Stoll) Subject: go32.exe and int 0x13 To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu (DJ gcc mailing list) Date: Mon, 25 Oct 1993 12:19:53 +0100 Hi everybody, I'm stuck with a nasty little problem concerning BIOS int 0x13 (which I need to use for raw disk access). I have this old program of mine which I now want to recompile using gcc. Apparently, go32.exe will not pass int 0x13 through (I checked exphdlr.c and yes, I guess that's the source of the problem). Would it be ok to just add a 'case 0x13:' to the list of interrupts that get passed to generic_handler (I don't remember the correct name perhaps)? Also, I've heard that the go32.exe that comes with the standard 2.4.1 distribution has a bug that prevents graphics from working, and that there is a replacement somewhere. Are there also source diffs available so that I could bring my go32 sources to the current level before messing around with them myself? Thanks for any pointers and ideas!
