Subject: problem under win31

I ran a big compile first time under 1.10u and win3.1. I have qemm 6.02 and
lots of other stuff (Novell, ftp Inc.,) loaded. Ran my makefile (ndmake 4.5)
and first compile (gcc -c smallfile.c) worked fine. Next came a big
ld linking lots of files, partially over network (nfs mounted dirs) gcc
suddenly stoped with

dj: adir/afile.o 1f
!abort


Any clues for this?
