Subject: running  X clients


Under DVX it is possible to compile local X clients and run them - OK.
Is there any other package - possibly ported to djgpp - that allows
for a similar facility? I.e. Implementing some kind of libX11 - not
necessarily with full networking capability - I'm just looking for some-
thing that allows to compile simple X-based  clients under djgpp without
the need of the "overhead" of running DVX - DVX is fine, I'm just asking
for alternate solutions.
